  • Working Hard!

     

    I have been working hard again this week!

    Yup! Lots of hard work in the salt mines!

    In Siberia, salt is found deep underground. Many years ago, prisoners were sent there and were forced to bring the salt to the surface. From that, back to the salt mines has come to mean hard work of any kind, and this humorous expression refers to going back to work. "The weekend is over it's time to get back to the salt mines."   • Safe Sex and a Sedentery Life Style?

    There have been a number of articles that say that if you live a sedentary life style your chances are 3 times greater dying after sex than if you live and active life style.

    The way this is stated at the front of most articles, most people would imagine this charted as above.

    While all that is absolutely true, what you have to dig to find is that for people with a sedentary lifestyle their chance of dying after sex is 3 in 1,000,000 vs. 1 in 1,000,000 for active people.

    Let's chart that again!

    Yes. The active and sedentary values are charted - they are just so SMALL you can't even see them!

    It's sorta like saying your chances of getting hit by lightning are greater than your chances of winning the lottery! WHO CARES? Neither one is likely to happen!

    So, actually, if you live a sedentary life style, its pretty safe to have sex.

    It won't likely kill you right away.

    I would wager that the main reason people with a sedentary life style die more frequently right after sex than active people, is that they can't run as fast as the jealous significant other of their recent partner.

    There is a bunny crossing ahead!

    For some reason, people like to mix up bunnies with Easter!

    A lot of bunnies get hurt in the process!

    "Oh stewardess! Are there any sharks in the ocean below?" asks a little old lady, terrified.

    "Yes, I'm afraid there are some. But not to worry, we have a special gel in the bottle next to your chair designed especially for emergencies like this. Just rub the gel onto your arms and legs".

    "And if I do this, the sharks won't eat me any more?" asks the little lady.

    "Oh, they will eat you all right, only they won't enjoy it so much".
