Ham or Donuts?
They say that ham is a traditional New Years Day food...
Apparently, the Dutch have a tradition...
Of eating donuts on New Years Day to bring good fortune.
Sounds good to me! Pass the donuts!
Dead Turkey Joke of the Day Why do 'tug' boats push their barges?
Why do we sing 'Take me out to the ball game', when we are already there?
Why are they called 'stands' when they're made for sitting?.

Today's YouTube Tune
Which would you rather have New Years Day? Ham or donuts?

I'll take some ham please, cuz I'm not a donut eater.
FIRST!! And happy new year donkey!
Ham is for that day with black eyed peas but donuts are for the morning?
i want both
in my family's, ham is traditional christmas eve fare
donuts - I'm sick of damn ham =/ although my grandson calls them toenuts, when you call them toenuts less people will be apt to want them and that means more for you =))) Happy New Year Donkey!
ham i get fat if i eat doughnuts im watching what i eat
Definitely donuts!! White icing and sprinkles on mine, please!
I'm sorry... Texas tradition is black eye peas for good luck. Personally would rather eat the donuts!
Keep the ham, throw out the peas and toss me a donut any day! Have a great New Year, whatever you choose to eat!
Doughnuts are just too yummy!
Ham. 'cause you need to "ham it up".
Both please (with some cheese and chocolate).
Happy New Year from Summer Lane

ermmm I'll have chocolate filled, chocolate coved doughnuts for breakfast please...a ham sandwich for lunch...and black eyed peas for dinner thank you very much...that way I get all 4 food groups in one day...and yes chocolate is a food group...try to argue with any female...lol
Donuts!
Thanks, you just made me want one!
No, no, no. Corned beef and cabbage with some boiled potoatoes is the traditional fare... The Dutch have been sniffing too many tulips. Thanksgiving = turkey, Christmas = ham, Easter = lamb, New Years is definitely corned beef.
Nothing traditional here today but I would have liked a donut. Maybe I'll get one tomorrow.
@murisopsis - Corned beef and cabbage? *Burp* Rumble rumble! Better run for cover!
@dingdongdingbat - Have a donut!
@murisopsis - I thought corned beef and cabbage was for St Patrick's day.
Unfortunately for many New Years day is for aspirin and water to ward off their hang over from the night before, and sleeping in. I guess the bread of the donuts could soak some of the alcohol up, and the salt of the ham would help retain the water. Hmmm, both are tasty to me, but supposed to be off my diet for awhile. I had enough at Christmas time.
I think good luck would be to eat ham and donuts off my wife's butt dimples.
