Dream House
It was the early 1960's just after one of my dad's transfers, and my mom and dad contracted to have a house built - their dream house!
We lived in that house for about 5 years...
Before my dad got transferred again.
They did not build anymore dream houses after that.
Dead Turkey Joke of the Day Two men debate whether Hawaii is pronounced "HaVaii" or "HaWaii."
They ask a passerby, who answers "Havaii."
"Thank you," says the satisfied first man.
"You're velcome," replies the passerby.

Haha! The joke must have taken place in Minnesota!
When I was in high school, my family rented a 1830's stone farm house in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was 3 stories and had walls a foot thick. It was magnificent and I always intended to go back and buy it one day. Then they put a golf course in and converted that old house into a club house/office. Sad, but at least they didn't demolish it.
I have pretty much been contented wherever I lived, so I have lived in many dream houses!
I like my house....don't know if I'd call it my dream house but I'm happy here.
safe to say no...
